Anxious about tomorrow

So, tomorrow is an event with 15 potential funders, and about a dozen people taking part in the program. It's all very wonderful if you see the opportunities inherent in impressing 15 organizations who have money, using a dozen of your most articulate people. Sounds too good to be true.

Of course, a dozen presenters is also a dozen people who could decide that 'two minutes' really means 'don't prepare' - which leads to rambling for five minutes.

I guess I'll just have to let it go, and do my own preparation - and a plan B if things take too long.

Luckily, at least a few cells in my brain know that the anxiety is a 'response that can be altered', and not a premonition of disaster. It would be a lot more fun if more of my brain cells were familiar with that concept.
